Third compile of the new kernel not working? Maybe you need to
switch off for a while and tune into some mindless TV viewing.
Contrary to popular belief, Linux does support TV tuner cards and

source movement and decided that this was where IBM should be. IBM's
recently announced billion dollar fund is proof that IBM is serious

the release of AIX code into the open source community.

Previously, if you wanted 64-bit computing power, you would have had to
choose one of the proprietary 64-bit platforms. Linux does run on several
of these but it is not the first choice for the enterprise on these
platforms. The Itanium is expected to change all that and cement Linux's
position at the top-end of the corporate segment.
